It’s not too late to get summer-ready with VIDA’s non-invasive and minimally invasive treatments. Try one, two, or all three of them and achieve the look you want just in time for swimsuit season.

CoolScultping

CoolSculpting is the gold standard in non-invasive body sculpting and contouring. It works by freezing away small amounts of unwanted fat. Everyone will need multiple cycles for optimal results, with the average ranging from 4 – 6 cycles. CoolSculpting can be used virtually anywhere on the body. The slow and steady approach to contouring means less risk of skin laxity compared to quick reduction from crash diets or liposuction.

CoolMini is CoolSculpting for the under-chin area, one of the most stubborn areas where pockets of fat can be found. You don’t have to be overweight to have a double chin. Many slender people are plagued with this problem, and CoolSculpting can help. However, we also offer another option for submental fat: Kybella. Find out whether CoolMini or Kybella is best for your double chin during a complimentary consultation.

Kybella

Kybella uses a series of synthetic deoxycholic acid injections. This acid already exists naturally in the body as a fat-melter. Just like with CoolMini, once fat cells are destroyed with Kybella, they are gone for good. Nearby fat cells can enlarge if weight gain should occur, but the particular fat cells blasted with CoolMini or Kybella cannot “grow back.” Kybella is considered a minimally invasive procedure because needles are used to inject the acid into the target site.

However, Kybella has a specialized “stamping” device so that numerous needles are inserted at once. This drastically reduces how many “stamps” you’ll need during each appointment. Similar to CoolMini, about 3 – 6 Kybella sessions spaced one month apart are typically needed for optimal results.

Kybella is injected conservatively so that your provider can see, with each appointment, how your body is responding to the treatment. You don’t want to remove too much fat from this area because the only solution at that point is fat grafting or dermal fillers. Removing just the right amount of fat can help make you look younger, slimmer, and healthier. Some clients do opt for dermal fillers along the jawline to further accentuate a youthful jawline.

Ultherapy

Ultherapy is a non-invasive treatment that sends ultrasound energy into targeted areas for dramatic skin tightening. It’s called the “facelift alternative” because the results are so fantastic. However, results are not immediate. Since this is a form of collagen induction therapy, it takes time for the body to produce that collagen. You will look no different right after this “one and done” procedure. There is no downtime, though some clients do experience pinkness for a few hours after their Ultherapy session.

You may start to see results in one month with full results at three months. Taking weekly progress photos is a good way to gauge success. Although Ultherapy is most often used to treat the face and neck, it can be used anywhere you want skin tightening. The abs, buttocks, and thighs are just a few areas typically treated with Ultherapy. In addition to the energy used with this treatment, your provider can also see exactly where that energy is being delivered thanks to ultrasound imaging. It’s very similar to the imaging seen during an OBGYN visit for pregnant people. This means you’re getting collagen stimulation in exactly the right areas.

Contouring for You

All three of these treatments are suitable for men and women of all ages and with all skin tones and types. There are very few contraindications with any of these treatments, and oftentimes you can get multiple procedures during the same appointment to compound your treatment time. With little to no downtime for all three, they are easy to fit into the busiest of schedules. Plus, if you start now, you’ll see major results (or full results!) by summer’s end.

Consultations are complimentary on all treatments at our medical day spa. Schedule yours today by calling VIDA during business hours or completing the online contact form.
