McKenzie Ballard, CAE
Meet McKenzie Ballard, an Advanced Esthetician and Certified Phlebotomist dedicated to unveiling your skin’s natural radiance. With over 15 years of customer service experience, McKenzie blends expertise with empathy to deliver exceptional care at VIDA Aesthetic Medicine.
Passionate about skincare from within, McKenzie is pursuing certification in Aesthetician Nutrition to further enhance her holistic approach. Specializing in Scarlet SRF Microneedling and Fibroblast Plasma Pen treatments, she excels in tightening and lifting, empowering clients to feel confident in their skin. VBeam is among her favorites, as she personally understands its transformative power; as someone with Rosacea, she loves witnessing her own redness and capillaries vanish like magic.
McKenzie’s journey into aesthetics was inspired by her own experiences, including tattoo removal and battling acne with Accutane. She deeply understands the transformative impact of treatments like PicoWay laser for tattoo removal and Scarlet for overall skin rejuvenation.
Outside the treatment room, McKenzie is an adventurous spirit, indulging in aerial fitness and sharing her life with two Shiba Inu pups. Together with her husband, they bond over their love for LEGO sets, always embarking on new building adventures.

Elizabeth Swafford, CAE, LE
Meet Elizabeth Swafford CAE, LE a dedicated body sculpting expert born and raised in Oregon. With over eight years of experience as an Advanced Aesthetician, Elizabeth specializes in CoolSculpting and CoolTone treatments.
Since 2015, Elizabeth has honed her skills with all three CoolSculpting devices: Legacy, Advantage, and now ELITE, making her an expert in the field. As part of the esteemed team at VIDA Aesthetic Medicine, the top CoolSculpting provider in Oregon, Elizabeth has undergone extensive training and collaboration with plastic surgeons across the region.

What is a Certified Advanced Esthetician (CAE)?
The training and skill of the professional performing your treatment are just as important as the treatment itself. Whether you’re interested in laser hair reduction or non-ablative tattoo removal, achieving the best results begins with choosing the right expert for your needs. A CAE is a high-level credential awarded to estheticians who’ve met criteria set by the Oregon Health Licensing Authority, including passing an exam written by the American Board of Laser Surgery, hundreds of hours operating a laser and ongoing continuing education.
