Meet Marissa Dukes

Marissa Dukes is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and a graduate of Walden University, receiving a Master of Science in Family Practice. She has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2018. She believes continued education and training are crucial to being a skilled injector. Prior to advancing her education as an FNP, Marissa spent seven years as an RN in the ER, pediatrics, and medical oncology. She received her B.S in Nursing from the University of Toledo. She is Board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB).

Marissa is a highly experienced lead FNP injector, with strict standards of safety, and comprehensive training by Allergan and Galderma. Allergan is the manufacturer of Botox, Juvederm, and Voluma, while Galderma manufactures Dysport and Restylane. Continuing specialized training is critical to acquiring and maintaining the skills that ensure beautiful, natural-looking results for every client.

At VIDA Aesthetic Medicine, Marissa specializes in dermal fillers, neuromodulators, Kybella, and Ultherapy. Her favorite treatments are injectables, specifically Botox and especially lip filler. Marissa’s caring touch, and dedication to reaching her patient’s goals, provide the highest standard of treatment.

She says, “I love making my patients comfortable and putting their minds at ease, getting to know their goals, and helping them feel more confident.”

Marissa is originally from southern Michigan and is passionate about art. Being an aesthetic nurse has allowed her to use her creativity in her career while still helping people feel their best. Outside work, she likes spending time with her fiancé, family, and three fur babies. She also enjoys hiking, being out in nature, painting, drawing, and working on her art.
