In a world where there are seemingly countless lasers, how do you know which one should be used for what skin condition? Leave that to the experts. VIDA carries all of the leading lasers and light-based therapies to treat all of the most common concerns and issues. Consultations are always complimentary and zero-pressure because we know how overwhelming laser skin rejuvenation can be. Oftentimes, mixing and matching lasers is what will give you the best results. There is no “one laser for all skin problems” which is why there are so many—and why we are known for having one of the biggest laser suites in the area. Here are some of our top picks for addressing the most troubling issues.

Medlite C6

The MedLite C6 for tattoo removal and laser hair reduction. The MedLite C6 is the only laser we use for tattoo removal because it is quite simply the best. It is much more comfortable than other “tattoo removal lasers” to the point where if you were comfortable enough to get the tattoo you’ll do just fine with this laser. Plus, it can tackle even old, deep tattoos of every color. Just keep in mind that all laser tattoo removal options are going to require multiple sessions, and we can give you an estimate during your consultation. The MedLite C6 works by targeting unwanted pigment (including tattoo ink and dark hair follicles), blasts them with energy, and the particles are slowly absorbed and expelled by the body. That’s why we also prefer it for laser hair reduction! Only dark hairs can be addressed with laser and light therapies and remember that lasers reduce The only method for total removal of hair is electrolysis, but the process is so long, painful, and costly that we do not recommend it.

Broadband Light (BBL)

BBL therapy is the second generation of IPL and can be used on just about any skin concern! It’s a great choice for treating lines and wrinkles, acne and acne scarring, many types of hyperpigmentation, rosacea, skin dullness, laxity, poor texture, and more. BBL is our go-to laser because it does so much with minimal downtime. Unlike more aggressive lasers, BBL does not destroy the top layer of skin so there is no prolonged recovery period. It can also be used for all skin tones and types. Typically, 4 – 6 initial sessions are recommended to achieve your best results and they can be sustained with maintenance sessions every six months.

Ultherapy

Ultherapy is our top recommended treatment for skin laxity. It’s called the “facelift alternative” because it can seriously tighten and tone skin for about one year and was originally designed for the lower half of the face and the neck (the same as a facelift). Ultherapy uses ultrasound technology to kick-start collagen induction therapy. The precision of the device allows your provider to see exactly where they are sending the energy below the skin’s surface. Ultherapy is a fantastic option for smaller areas such as the face and neck, and most clients set an annual Ultherapy appointment to keep those results going.

These are just a few of the ways you can use lasers, light-based, and other energy-based treatments to achieve results without the risk of surgery. All non-invasive and with little to no downtime, discover for yourself what a difference a little light can make.
