Sculptra is made with poly-L-lactic acid (a synthetic material similar to absorbable sutures) and Radiesse, which is made of calcium hydroxylapatite suspended in a gel carrier of sterile water. Both Sculptra and Radiesse are collagen stimulators and are readily accepted by the body.
