Should you get Botox or fillers? A light chemical peel or dermaplaning? Microneedling or a DiamondGlow session? At VIDA, we know that the secret to your best skin isn’t in any singular treatment—for the vast majority of clients, combining treatments yields the best results. However, since you’re one of a kind, there’s also no one “combo treatment” for everyone. That’s why we offer complimentary consultations on ALL treatments. Let’s work together to design the perfect combination of treatments for you, your skin, and your goals.

One of the most popular pairings for years has been Botox and dermal fillers. This is because they each address the two most common, early signs of aging that often go hand in hand but are very different. Botox, the neuromodulator you know and love, can stop lines and wrinkles from forming in the first place. This is known as “baby Botox” and is trending for those in their twenties. Already have lines and wrinkles? No worries—Botox can freeze the muscles causing those creases with results that last up to six months in most cases.

Contrary to popular belief, wrinkles aren’t the only early sign of aging. We also lose good volume, especially in our face and tops of our hands, as we get older. Those who are slender experience the most severe reduction. It might not seem like lost volume is what’s making you look older, but that’s often the case. Dermal fillers with hyaluronic acid (HA), which is already found in the body, can restore the volume you’ve lost or give you plumpness where you’ve always wanted it (like your lips). Most HA fillers last anywhere from 6 – 18 months depending on the type of filler, the injection site, and how many syringes are used.

Peeling Your Best: Get Rid of UV damage, Pollution, and Debris

The top layer of our skin (which is the biggest organ we have!) is exposed to non-stop stressors like UV damage, pollution, and debris. Removing that very top layer can help to increase skin cell turnover while revealing more youthful skin below the surface. There are many ways to do this, such as a light chemical peel. These peels require no downtime, though some clients might experience some flaking a few days after their treatment. This isn’t your mother’s chemical peel, which made her look like she was a burn victim and required days of hiding indoors.

However, chemical peels do not remove the peach fuzz on the face. That’s why pairing Dermaplaning with a light peel works so well. Dermaplaning uses a specialized scalpel to remove peach fuzz as well as surface debris. It works as an exfoliator and preps the skin for all types of treatments, including light peels. Dermaplaning also addresses another sign of aging we often overlook, that peach fuzz. You might notice that kids have baby-smooth skin with virtually no fuzz, but all women start to get “peachy” with age (you can thank hormones for that).

Glow from the Inside Out

Has your skin lost its luster? It happens, but VIDA has all of the treatments to bring it back, like microneedling and DiamondGlow. Microneedling creates micro-channels in the skin through a specialized hand-held device. These tiny needles “tell” your body to kick-start collagen production, which youth-ifies the skin from the inside out. It takes time, though, since collagen production isn’t immediate. Want a little faster gratification? Pair microneedling with DiamondGlow.

DiamondGlow is the proprietary 3-step treatment that simultaneously exfoliates, extracts gunk from pores, and infuses skin with medical-grade skin care products all using real crushed diamonds in customized tips. There are several tips your provider can choose from, which means an individualized treatment just for you.

Of course, you can also mix and match ALL of these treatments for the ultimate procedure just for you. Botox and Dermaplaning, DiamondGlow and dermal fillers, a light peel and lasering elsewhere? All of the above? It’s all up to you and your provider. Many treatments are designed to treat a specific issue, but with over 3,000 unique skin conditions it’s very unlikely that you’re struggling with just one.
