Popular Treatments At VIDA
IPL, BBL, and Forever Young BBL
Intense pulsed light (IPL) and broadband light (BBL) are two of our oldest and most effective modalities available to treat pigmented skin. They work by delivering intense pulses of light to the skin, reducing brown spots caused by sun damage as well as facial redness/veins associated with conditions such as rosacea, melasma, and other hyperpigmentation disorders. The Forever Young BBL treatment is a maintenance treatment that helps maximize and sustain the results of your initial BBL treatments.
All of these treatments work by directing heat into the skin, which then targets the discoloration, destroys the cells, and producing healthy collagen and elastin. With every treatment, collagen is stimulated and can erase years of sun damage and signs of aging. In addition, the process helps restore your natural beauty, resulting in brighter, younger-looking, more evenly toned skin.
Ultherapy Skin Tightening
Ultherapy is a non-surgical treatment that uses your body’s natural collagen-building process to lift and tighten skin on the face, neck, and chest. Unlike laser skin tightening, Ultherapy makes use of ultrasound waves that completely bypass the skin’s surface. Instead, energy is delivered directly to the deep tissue, stimulating the body’s natural response to build new, fresh collagen.
A good candidate for Ultherapy is someone with some degree of skin laxity that looks and often feels less firm. For example, loose skin under the neck and chin and lines and wrinkles on the chest are signs that you might be an excellent Ultherapy candidate. VIDA has been offering Ultherapy treatments since 2013, and we have performed hundreds of treatments with excellent results.
Pigmentation
Even if you take every precaution to protect your skin from sun damage starting today, that doesn’t undo the damage accumulated from years of unprotected (or poorly protected) sun exposure in your youth. VIDA’s suite of treatments and technologies enables a 100% customized approach to address pigmentation that often presents as brown spots, age spots, discoloration, rosacea, melasma, and more.
Treatments for pigmentation depend highly on your particular skin. We’d want to see you in person and learn more about your goals, evaluate your skin, and together build a treatment plan. Many people respond well by utilizing Broadband light. Other patients have great success with chemical peels, microneedling, microdermabrasion, and medical-grade skin care products.
Laser Tattoo Removal
We understand that people change, but tattoos don’t unless you have professional tattoo removal using the latest technology. As a result of ongoing training and access to cutting-edge research, our providers know exactly how to assess and treat even the most intricate tattoos to ensure the most success.
The MedLite C6 by Cynosure uses revolutionary technology to treat and remove unwanted tattoo ink by sending short, fast energy pulses to the inked area. Laser Hair Removal
There’s only so much shaving and waxing you can do, and these types of hair removal procedures can be very time-consuming. Laser hair reduction therapy can safely and effectively disable targeted hair follicles, so your skin feels silky and smooth, eliminating your need to ever shave or wax again.
We offer two different treatment options. The Sciton Profile 1064nm and BBL (broadband light) system. If you’re familiar with light technology, BBL is similar to IPL, but BBL is far superior to give you optimal results. The duration of the energy and pulses are carefully calibrated to be absorbed by the hair follicle’s pigment to disable it.
