Types of Injectables
There are many types of injectables, including those designed to minimize wrinkles and fine lines, fill in lost volume, dissolve a double chin, and some are designed just for the lips. It truly takes an artful eye, precision, and knowledge of each injectable and anatomy to give you a safe, long-lasting, and natural-looking results.
Some areas that can be treated are temples, undereye hollows, smile folds, lip lines, lips, cheeks and cheek hollows, jawline, chin, hands, neck, and acne scarring. At your complimentary consultation, your provider will conduct a thorough exam to determine the best injectable for your anatomy, skin quality, treatment goals, and budget.
Botox Injections
Some patients are hesitant about Botox because they’re afraid of looking “frozen” or being unable to smile following the treatment. When Botox is injected by an experienced provider, the results will look completely organic. It’s most common to inject Botox to treat wrinkles and lines associated with frowning or squinting, particularly between the brows (the “angry elevens”) or around the eyes (“crow’s feet”).
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are used to minimize the appearance of facial folds and wrinkles, but they can also be used to re-contour facial features to enhance your natural beauty. Dermal fillers can minimize smile folds and marionette lines, soften vertical lip lines, enhance lip fullness, turn up the corners of your mouth, create a smooth jawline, and even give you cheekbones that create the ideal heart-shaped face.
Kybella
Kybella is a treatment to permanently reduce submental fat, which causes the dreaded double chin. Kybella uses a series of deoxycholic acid injections. This acid already occurs naturally in the body, but Kybella offers a concentrated, targeted dose that is deposited directly into the unwanted fat. Kybella is the only FDA-approved injection to decrease submental fullness permanently.
