What is Platelet Rich Plasma?

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is the latest wrinkle reduction and skin rejuvenation treatment to improve skin texture and reduce fine lines and wrinkles, especially for the delicate skin under the eyes. It can also be used to reduce the appearance of acne scarring, especially when combined with MicroNeedling. The treatment is performed by drawing a small amount of blood, and separating the different components. The clear plasma and platelets are placed into specific areas of the skin to promote collagen growth. PRP can also be combined with MicroNeedling, dermal fillers, or Botox to target your unique concerns.

As with all therapies, adequate training and experience are paramount. Dr. Kim Thompson and DO, Dr. Glen Jarosz, ND have an artful eye and extensive knowledge of the different products so you can be sure that you will receive long-lasting, natural-looking results. In the skilled hands of our injectors, PRP can be used in a layered approach and combined with other treatments to significantly enhance your results.
